Guided tour of the famous Proussos monastery
with us, said to have been founded under the reign of the iconoclast Emperor Theophilus (8 29 -842 AD). The trek follows a charming, well-defined path surrounded by soaring fir trees, chestnut trees and crosses traditional wooden bridges. As the trek draws to an end, rappel down into Mavri Spilia Gorge with the aid of special equipment on a 7 m waterfall. This is one activity that's bound to remain unforgettable, pumping your adrenaline levels sky-high.
Rappelling is optional.
Continuing to the Mavri Spelia Canyon with Via Ferrata
This trek leads from Aniada village of Mt. Kaliakoudas. It follows a charming route that passes amid fir trees and is suitable for all age groups, giving trekkers the chance to admire the natural landscape of Evrytania.
At the end of the trek there is a large flat area where trekkers can rest and savour the heat of the campfires we will light there…

Rafting is a relatively new sport by Greek standards, but one which is nonetheless quite popular; so much so that each year are pleased to welcome countless visitors seeking to live and experience the excitement offered by river rafting.
Using new -style six- to twelve-seater inflatables we can slide down the crystal clear, spray-filled waters of the rivers of Evrytania, savour the beauty of Evrytania's lush natural vegetation and ensure an adrenaline rush.
Visitors don't need to have any experience since each boat is accompanied by an experienced guide from F-ZEIN ACTIVE who guides them down river, briefing them about rafting techniques and the local flora and fauna. All this is done using special equipment provided by F-ZEIN ACTIVE (neoprene suits, neoprene waterproof stockings, helmets, lifejackets, etc.).
All our visitors need bring with them is a swimsuit, a second pair of shoes -since the first ones will get soaked while rafting- and, of course, a good mood...

Karpenissi – Panta Vrechi:
We kick off from Karpenissi heading for the village of Aniada. From there following the dirt track that leads through dense fir forest we reach the foothills of Mt. Kaliakoudas, near the mountaineering shelter at an altitude of 1,800m. From there we head down to the village of Doliana taking the forest road. Following a small, riverside path we reach one of nature's miracles known as Panta Vrechi, with its towering waterfalls, the Roska rope bridge and the Krikelopotamos River with its deeply carved banks...
